Exhibit Requests

"A Test of Love" features 68 black-and-white photographs, each accompanied by one or more of 62 statements. All items are framed and equipped with back wires for display.

The photographs are framed in 16 x 20 inch metal, while most statements are framed in 11 x 14 inch matching frames, with a few exceptions. Each piece has a unique identification number or letter on the back for easy reference.

The exhibit is securely stored in a specialized art storage warehouse in Salt Lake City. The pieces are housed in professionally built crates specifically designed for this traveling exhibit. These crates have proven durable, including during international shipping to Europe. Exact crate dimensions are available upon request.

"A Test of Love" is available for full exhibits and for sale as a complete collection only. Partial exhibits are not available at this time.

Please note that the website may not fully capture the quality of the images. All photographs were taken with a Hasselblad 500cm, ensuring high-quality images with sharp focus, unless artistically altered for effect. Full releases were obtained from all participants and apply to any use of the exhibit which the artist authorizes.

Many of the statements have been translated to Spanish and are available on mount board, unframed.

Darkroom Prints

Currently, a limited number of darkroom prints, identical to those in the exhibit and produced during the original production, are available for purchase. These prints are part of a limited edition, signed and numbered, and are priced at $1,000 each, unframed. A copy of the accompanying statement can be included at no additional cost. Further prints cannot be produced in the original manner.

Prints from Scanned Images

Using ILFORD black and white silver gelatin photographic paper, I can create prints from digital files that closely resemble traditional B&W darkroom prints. These prints are from digital files, not in the darkroom, and are printed by a Fuji Frontier inkjet printer. The prints go through a chemical/light mix. All images on the PHOTOS & STATEMENTS page are available in this format, although not all the other original images have been converted to high-resolution scans yet. These 11 x 14 prints are priced at $500 each, and a copy of the statement can be included.
